This campaign and operations route chart maps the journey of the 3rd Division during World War II. The 3d Division first saw action in the North African invasion, landing at Fedala, French Morocco on 8 November 1942. The division fought in the Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Anzio, Rome-Arno, Southern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe campaigns.
